Why in 3's?

Why do deaths always seem to come in 3's?
Another dear friend passed today. 3rd one this month. Or is it just me?

My superstitious mother always said this. I don't see the trend or believe the superstitions.

I resist this '3s' thing as much as I can, it just isn't true, it may seem like it but it isn't.

Things don't "happen in threes". You just get to three and start counting over.

People look for patterns. We remember the hit and forget the misses. Pick a longer time period and I am sure you number of dead will increase.
