LINK Bank of America is asking customers to prove citizenship to access their own money
This is outrageous! first of all, you don't even have to BE a citizen to open a bank account. banks love foreign money. they love it so much, sometimes they launder it! second of all, in the second example given here, the customers WERE citizens! their account was frozen anyway.

Well, I have a BOA credit card and when it's paid off it gets cut up.

i was, a gazillion years ago, a bank of america customer. i watched them steal money even from poorish customers. they did it, at least to poor folk, in dribs and drabs. the statements just never added up. they're crooks.
