Do atheists, who find no magic in the world, live drab, boring lives, by comparison?

There is no magic in the world to find.

just things we need to learn

I write Science Fiction, Urban Fantasy, Fantasy, Urban Paranormal, etc. I engage in astronomical pursuits. I play with math and philosophy and history and ... and ... and....

I find it difficult imagining what it is you're talking about. I haven't had a single boring day in my entire life to this point.

Just because i don't believe in invisible friends, doesnt mean i have no imagination and i can't fantasize about a world peopled with magic creatures.

I find beauty and wonder in everyday things. Observing nature, human behavior, watching pets interact with humans and each other, seeing how quickly plants grow.
Right now, being amazed at how fast our puppy is growing, as she seems to get taller every day. Listening to the wind, the birds, the leaves changing colors. Who needs to attribute these things to some unseen entity?

Which definition of magic, the formal or informal one?

your choice

@CallMeDave Formal: uhm, of course not. That kind of magic is just silly. Informal meaning: yes, leading a life devoid of awe at the world would be sad.
