Yes, our wait times are long. but its government cutbacks that cause much of it. Not enough staff to fill the need, so they go elsewhere for the jobs.
I waited 9 months after being scheduled for the hospital for my first hip replacement & it looks like just as long for my second, but in large centers like Vancouver, the waits can be up to 3 years.
