QUESTION Most American Live Paycheck to Paycheck

With my job I get to talk to people who aren't working for a period of time. When I tell them how much their benefit is going to be it is rarely enough. It is stressful enough to be sick/hurt, to put not enough money on top of it. We're a sick society.

Advertising leads people to believe they have to use money for entertainment that they could live without , or they are not living as they should . They feel shunned from society .

I know exactly what it means to worry that some unforeseen emergency could push you into bankruptcy. Instead of 'trickle-down theory' how about we call it what it is: reverse-socialism or the redistribution of wealth to the already wealthy. Current wealth inequality in this country is worse than during our 'Gilded Age' and is even worse than pre-revolutionary France.
