My guess is that in traditional dating sites, there is a very high men to women ratio (am I right?).

Ok. I did some google search on it, and this is from 2016 so it might be outdated. But I guess it isn't quite true that men outnumber women. It is simply that they send out far more messages to far more number of women, than vice versa. Men are playing the numbers game, whereas women tend to be far more selective..... I find this to be fascinating, and wonder what it means in terms of our society's gender roles and the mating protocols, as impacted by the internet apps....
