LINK Democrats Finally Acknowledging Secular Voters

The party is starting to appreciate the growing nonreligious bloc.

I find that very encouraging.

I was wrong about that article, being from HuffPost.
It was from the same Psychology Today article.

i don't know what "finally" means. obama acknowledged nonbelievers. that may not be 100-year-old news but it's not new either anymore.

Slow, aren't they?

I've often thought that with all the squabbles that go on here about definitions, like atheist and agnostic, and ignostic and all the rest, that 'secular' might be one term we could all agree on, or most of us. I'm sure I'm wrong. There would be objections I'm sure. Something about the term would not suit some. Oh well.

It's a start.

Kyrsten Sinema (D - Arizona) is widely thought to be a non-believer but she hasn't admitted it yet. And the Freethought Caucus mentioned in the article includes my congressman when I lived in CA - Jerry McNerney.

As long as they keep going.
