That is a very nasty story. It is often said that when the environment is damaged it is the creatures at the top of the food chains who suffer most, especially from poisoning, sadly people including people who do no harm are often at the top of the food chain. We seem to have woken up about lead now, (perhaps too little too late) but there are new uses being found for all forms of exotic heavy metals all the time, how long before we know what the effects of these are?
