Apparently, to give every human being on this planet access to safe drinking water would cost $10 billion (http://www.nytimes.com/2000/11/23/world/price-of-safe-water-for-all-10-billion-and-the-will-to-provide-it.html)

There are a number of people in this world who are so fabulously, ridiculously wealthy they could do that. A group of them could do it and not even notice the difference to their bank balances.

Meanwhile, children are still dying from water-borne diseases.

It's become clear that there is a sizable group of billionaires who see this all as a game and their goal; is to win it all, whatever it takes.
