Why does lynching need a separate law from any other type of murder? Why would you need to specify what type of persons cannot be lynched? Lynching is first degree premeditated murder and a hate crime regardless of who is being lynched or who is doing the lynching. If these people are advocating the murder of anyone for any reason then they are engaging in conspiracy to commit murder.

While I would not put anything past evangelical xtian groups like this, I have to doubt this story.

Let's correct this problem at its source and lynch the evangelicals.

Only evil people would want to make an exception to a law that is against hanging humans by the neck until dead. And only truly evil people would target a specific group of other people as the sole exception. And only monsters would base their decisions on a book of ancient myths and legends written by illiterate desert-dwelling goat herders from two millennia ago.
