Sounds similar to the stories we have heard of anti-gay parents who have a complete change of heart when they have a child who is gay. Everyone needs to understand that homosexuality is not a mental disorder, it is biologically driven and there is no choice about it. As long as people keep believing religion over science we will have the discrimination and misunderstanding of gays.
