reminds me of a funny incident which ocurred 50+ yrs ago when i was in RCN (navy) basic training.
we had a lecture on all those bad diseases: syphilis, ghonorea & others complete with slides. some very graphic & gruesome.
when it was over the lecturer said he would take questions.
the 1st question was : sir, what's VD?
