Democracy was supposed to be a check on income inequality. Instead it's a threat to democracy.

The big thing they left out "The end of the Cold War" Labor unions in free-market industries literally have no power when they are competing with billions who are willing to work for $3 per hour or less. The only place labor unions have any power are public employee unions, teachers unions, etc. where there is no foreign competition.

Still beyond the attention span of most people, I fear. The rich don't give a fig, and the poor see it as mumbo-jumbo.
