Ya know? August needs a holiday. Think about it, name a holiday in August. It’s the only month without a holiday. If astrology has a nugget of truth with respect to Leo’s, it could be argued our egos don’t leave room for a holiday. If my ego was truly overblown I’d suggest the 9th, my birthday. With my ego firmly in check I submit to you August 7th as a federal holiday.
I think most of us are scared to count un-hatched chickens since Nov 8th 2016. I was actually at the Javits Center that night. On the subway the mood and excitement was infectious. Many women (and men) dressed in all white, Hillary signs, bright eyes and confident. I didn’t leave early enough to get in, so I was in the outdoor overflow, there were so many people, kinda like the subway during rush hour.
There were speakers for the overflow crowd, I heard DeBlasio and several of the Black Lives Matter mothers who’s sons were murdered by police officers. In the crowd there were journalists from all over the world among us reporting. Then...the mood shifted, the stench of hairspray and orange bronzer coming from the other side of Manhattan where Trump was having his election night party was choking. I left after Ohio went red.
Back to counting chickens and Tuesday’s election. When this is all said and done we should honor and have gratitude for the excellence and professionalism of the man who (IMO) worked harder for We the People than anyone else in the last year. I certainly hope they don't try to fire him before his investigation is finished. It seems there is a majority of people that don't want to know the truth because they wouldn't believe it anyway.
I've been involved in some way or another with Leos most of my life even being married to one for a short time. It was a tough marriage. Lots of yelling and chaos. Regardless, many people who figure or have figured in my life have been Leos. I have no idea why, of course.
Regarding August, it should be like twice as long. Okay, maybe not twice as long but longer. I like to languish in the heat. I like seeing the sun in long stretches into the night. For me at least this past year the whole of August was a holiday for me which I totally enjoyed. August is the best part of summer.

In all seriousness, I don't see it happening. RM may be a fine human, but I can't imagine that he'll ever receive that degree of recognition.
Really? August already IS a holiday! Think about it, the days are long, every day is sunny and warm, you see the sun when you go to work, you see the sun when you get off work, you fall asleep and it's still warm & bright, there's endless fun to be had all day & all night - August is the month with the fewest actually worked days (vacations, faux-sick days, days you just said fuck it ..)!
