LINK Utah Has Now Banned Warrantless Electronic Data Searches | BTCMANAGER

Finally! It's a sad day in America when individual States feel compelled to reinstate our Constitutional rights. This was a surprise, a very welcome surprise. Hopefully more States will follow. This puts law enforcement all across the country on notice.

Sadly this “state” law will have zero impact on federal snooping. Once any form of communication crosses state lines it is fair game to federal spooks.

Level 9

We need more of this. By law there must be a warrant and that warrant has to be signed by a judge. Since 911 people have assumed we have we have all kind of new laws and powers. This is not always correct.
