I have written off and on for nearly my whole life. I have journals all over the place. I wrote a book several years ago, that started as a project to give my daughter the history of the strong women whose blood runs through her veins. It needs a complete rewrite to even have a chance at being published. I also write a lot of essays about being a little kid in the 40s and 50s, a teen in the 60s, and my life as a hippy/atheist/pagan in a very small, central Illinois, conservative, religious farm town. I write about raising my kids, and recently, I wrote an essay about a day in my life as a midwife. I might be published some day, or maybe I won't but I do like writing.
