Also, I would think the devil can read. If so maybe he might be working on a plan to screw up the Bible’s ending.

And besides, according to the fable, god created Satan knowing that he would bring horrific suffering and death to god's beloved creation. Why would Satan punish people for not following god? Don't you think that we would be provided with eternal orgies of food, sex, and whatever makes you happy?

God is us and, collectively, we are evil. Individually we are just flawed.

Think about this. Say god was an ideology (which it kind of is) and then say the devil was another ideology (which it kind of is). Now, assuming these 2 ideologies exist in different proportions within the human mind. Depending on external factors such as lifestyle, upbringing, memories, etc; we grow and the proportions change depending on how we live. In this sense, if we are attacked (by a murdered) we could say we are punished by the devil and if someone saves us then they are a god send (police). So saying that god works through humanity and the devil works through humanity would be correct for this argument.

I always say that if there were some kind of god, he/she or it is an uninterested observer with no supernatural powers what so ever. He definitely does not have your back.

Funny I was just thinking about this earlier this morning when another post asked "if God is benevolent why all the suffering?".
