What is your daily menu?

I want to know what you eat every day. Why? I'm just curious. I'm very specific about what I eat and why, and I'm curious about what your diet is like so I can see if we're compatible or not.

I participate in fasting, so I eat a smaller quantity of food than the typical American. Today, I'll be having a salad (veg, chix, grains, fats, etc.). I don't know what I'll eat tomorrow for lunch. The only time I eat the same thing every day, is when I meal prep. And prepping large quantities of food is the only tolerable way of cooking for me. I want to spend as little time in the kitchen as possible. I hate cooking and grocery shopping, which fits into my fasting lifestyle perfectly. But I eat just about everything, with some dislikes (tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, steak, animal fat, chicken thighs, etc.).

I drink water, black coffee, plain hot tea, and LaCroix. On weekends I might drink alcohol (typically gin, sometimes vodka).

can go with fruit nuts rice salad and water ... but need coffee too

I'll start:

  1. Breakfast - cooked oatmeal w/raisins, fruit (banana, apple, nectarine, peach, whatever's fresh), and nuts, mug of Stok cold brew coffee w/almond milk
  2. Lunch - 6 or 7 stuffed grape leaves (grape leaves, rice, herbs/spices), hummus and corn chips or bread or carrots
  3. Dinner - big bowl of salad greens, fresh tomato, cukes, olives, gorgonzola cheese chunks and a home-made Greek dressing
  4. Snacks - fruit (whatever's in season), nuts
  5. Desserts - fruit
  6. Drinks - cold tea, fresh water

the same every day beyond seasonality? that's a little extreme.

@Allamanda You probably won't live longer, but it will feel like it. smile001.gif
