Hey, anyone else think that Martin was the Jerry Lewis of the 70s and 80s, and Jim Carrey was the Steve Martin of the 90s and 2000s - even if there's overlap between Martin and Carrey. I find their "shtick" very similar. E.g. I can see Jerry Lewis in Marint's "Dirty Rotten Scoundrel" and "Bowfinger" movies. And I can see Martin in Carrey's "Liar Liar".
