Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.She was a product of her time. She honored her own decision of following her faith even though in her later years she began to doubt. I don't know that she was good or bad, just human caught in the condition of her times.
I personally don't like the path she was on or the beliefs of the religion she followed but if I had been born in that time with the conditioning women had at that time, I likely might have been just as cruel with acting out with such constraints upon me.
