They were co-habiting with elephant lice, and the relationship went bad, there was a knock-down drag out fight, and dust mites prevailed, and booted the elephant lice out. Recently the dust mites have been co-habiting with marcopian ants because they can pack their beer with them as they hitch rides from the foyer to the front porch.

Makes sense! I hope the elephant lice fought for a fair legal settlement.

Their part of the settlement was stock in an IT security company which later got a government contract and shot up the chart, so they bought a yacht and sailed off to the Canary Islands. They moved into another run-down house in Maspalomas but made sure there was no infestation of dust mites before moving in.
