I did not know that Oklahoma's marijuana laws were so lax. This is pretty fascinating coming from the thick of the Bible Belt. Almost shocking.
(The couple profiled here are also in Netflix's Murder Mountain. Hopefully Oklahoma won't do what Humboldt County/State of California did, is doing, will continue to do to legal growers. If something isn't done to stop big pharma, I have a sense legal marijuana will turn out to be just another avenue to exploit, which will leave the black market thriving.)
What is great about my dispensary is that I can medicate by a variety of methods ( tablets, vape oil, skin oil, bud, tincture, etc. ), and by varied percentages and strengths of CBD and THC. What I buy is grown and processed locally. The product purity has been tested by a reputable mainstream lab for purity. I've tried their vape oil, tablets, and of course bud, and have found that I prefer vape oil. Tablets are a bit expensive, but last longer, and bud burns the throat and mouth, but vape oil works fast, is neat, comfortable and price effective. I find that a high % CBD and a moderate % THC are optimal for my needs. There is no downside to buying from the dispensary, which keeps the experience of shopping there extremely pleasant. Unless people try to buy there in order to sell, I don't see how the existence of such dispensaries will be taken over by disreputable sources. It's too good an experience for current customers to tolerate negative changes in the dispensary industry.
Welcome to the USA! Life is stranger than fiction, so just try to imagine how strange that is.
Agreed! I'm sure this is why it took so long to get it deregulated! The liquor industry MUST have had something to do with it.
Two different kinds of stimulants.Big tobacco and Agri are behind any push to keep it a controlled substance. During the 50s Dupont was behind the push to make it illegal Federally.
They were pushing to have Plastic rope replace hemp rope for all US ships.
