Some doctors advise against taking anti-inflamatory drugs when sick, including cov-19. These drugs include aspirin, ibuprofen and cortisone...do not take them. Fever helps fight infection, and lowering a fever can make the infection worse.

Nothing to do with reducing the fever, everything to do with reducing the anti-inflamatory reaction.

I summarized the video, made by a doctor who recommended not to treat the fever. He said it didn't matter whether the med was an anti-inflammatory or not.
