Dogs may be able to get it as well, not proven either way that I am aware of but it is suspected. No surprise as mammals share a lot of DNA.

Good to know. My two sisters are always indoors.

They're beautiful! And safe.

Vets & other animal experts have told us this for at least 10 years , if not going on 20 . Everything from garbage digging , to coyotes , keep your pets inside 🧐

IMHO Cats should be kept indoors at all times. It keeps them safe.

Never. Cats need to roam and satisfy their innate curiosity unless you want them to become neurotic.

However, don't extrapolate from this that you can catch the virus from cats. They get it from people, not the other way round. But if there is some on their fur, from being breathed upon by a Covid positive person, and you then stroke the cat, then touch your face, you have a faint chance of becoming infected.
