seems a lot marriages only work because many married people see very little of one another.

My 1st marriage lasted 16 years because we never saw each other. He was a manager for a large trucking company, Red Star and he worked mostly 2nd and 3rd shift. I had my own social life with my own friends. When we spent time together his alcoholism was apparent and we couldn't go out together.
@sassygirl3869 Sorry to hear that, my first marriage was a disaster, my second however has had me become my wife's carer and we spend all day everyday together, I have never been happier.
I hope you too have found a better and more fulfilling relationship.
@LenHazell53 - several male friends for now. We'll see what happens lol.
