Why is this going to a grand jury? They don't need a grand jury to prosecute. They are hoping that a grand jury will not vote to prosecute and then they will have an excuse to let these men off for murder. This is an old ruse that they've been using for generations. This way they get to blame it on an ambiguous group of people they cannot name and the white men get off for murdering another black body.
