Roy Horn, one-half of the popular Las Vegas animal and magic act Siegfried and Roy, died Friday of complications from the coronavirus, according to his publicist. He was 75.
I have nearly 30 years' experience working in a large zoo and know something about the behavior of large cats. Remember when one of their cats attacked Roy onstage? They both tried to cover it up by saying the cat had been ''startled by something in the audience'' and had grabbed Roy, pulling him offstage to ''protect him."
TOTAL BULLSHIT!
If you look at videos of the event, the cat had him in a typical tiger ''death grip'' around the neck--which severs the spinal cord and renders the prey unconscious. (Very efficient, by the way.) Stupid man was finally taken down by a cat who had just had enough!
Every one of those endangered animals should have been in a breeding program, instead of kept in a purely concrete exhibit in a gambling casino.
What goes around.....
