I agree with him on that.

@SpikeTalon Absolutely !

He hated white people on principle,which gave him a huge blind spot. How are black people supposed to solve the problems of banks that discriminate, cops that use violence, and etc. Without enlisting Everyone in the fight? And i mean ENLISTING, not depending on them! I see demonstrators of every color who clearly realize WE are all in this together, and a damn good think it is!

He became enlightened about race later in his life - shortly before he was assassinated by Louis Farrakhan.

I get what he was saying. White liberals are a barrier to solving the problems of race in America because the vast majority of them are fine with capitalism and their privileged status. They are not willing to share more of the society's economic benefits with blacks and they are fine with capitalism as it is. I am a proud socialist and I have little time or patience with white liberals either. They are a barrier as well for socialists who want America to have a fair economy for all races. White liberals allow the ruling class to keep the lid on and prevent civil war between races or revolution against the rich because the liberals keep pushing for multiculturalism and identity politics without real economic reform. This tricks a lot of lower class people of all races into thinking we are making progress towards being a more fair and equal society when in fact we are not. Our economics are way more unfair than they were even in the 1970s.

As long as white liberals (who are usually members of the top 10% in wealth and income) keep identifying with and supporting the top 1%, we will never have any economic equality. Instead, we will keep getting fed policies from the Dem party to increase tolerance for queer people and racial minorities, but no improvement in how the income and wealth are (not) shared.

I want to know what kinds of experiences Malcom X had with white liberals, and with white conservatives. How did he defines the two words?

Did you read his autobiography?

@WilliamFleming I heard of it but was doing computer work on the Moon program. I had followed the news and read of his murder but thought it due to problems in a faction of blacks. I still don’t read bios or autobios.

@yvilletom Yeah, it was infighting among Black Muslims. I don’t remember much of it but was highly impressed at the time by his harsh and unusual life.
