I’m wondering if maybe there is something going on behind the scenes here.
The NFL has a huge contract with the US military. It is basically for PR for the armed forces. Think fly overs, honoring the troops, active duty soldiers surprising family members by appearing at a game. They have had lots of experience with this kind of thing.
I don’t think I’m going to far out on a limb here to note that our country is at a pivotal point regarding race. The most successfully integrated part of our society is the military. Just wondering if anybody from the military has been having conversations with the NFL?
And now that I think about it, I wonder about NASCAR, too.
