That is EXACTLY what it feels like these days. Sad thing is, we're going to lose a whole lot more American's between now and Jan 20th. I know it is terrible to say, but my road to make believe hell was paved long ago...I wish lightning would have struck his pathetic arse last night instead of my A/C unit. It is mind boggling that one man's incompetence is allowed to reign while people die because of it.

@Amzungu My disbelief is turning to anger as I see people still support him. I like to be totally in control of my emotions and always keep my cool but this year has been vexing.

Yeah, like he knows any limits. This has been coming for some time. I don't know that he will outright fire him, that might cause too much backlash right now. They will simply discredit him and trash his reputation so that the Trumpsters all fall in line with that thought. He's already been effectively sidelined as an actionable force. Trump doesn't even meet with the task force anymore.

Not at all surprised. But it does elevate my concern for the survivial of my fellow citizens as we head into the fall and winter. Sigh. We seem to be heading in all the wrong directions.

@Amzungu I certainly empathize with all of you. My only surviving family lives in Florida and i worry about what's happening down there. They're rejecting all the easy answers, taking special care of each other and themselves, and plan to survive until the US gets over the current crises. Which it will!
