Will this (unanimous!) FCC ruling prevent robocalls ?

FCC: Phone carriers that profit from robocalls could have all calls blocked

Safe harbor lets phone companies block all calls from “bad-actor” telecoms.

"Could have....." being the operative words. New ones pop up every day, though. They're like damned poison mushrooms!

. . . but this ruling lets the phone companies block them ! 😛

@FearlessFly Yes...they block the ones today....but tomorrow, they have new numbers and make new calls. It will take a massive reporting system to get past the robo callers. And remember--they pay their bills every month, too.

@LucyLoohoo The phone companies DON"T block them, they profit by not doing so.
