What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Soon, the US will need to stop threats and actually use diplomacy as the $USD ain't gunna rule the roost for too much longer ie sanctions from US no more.
The hypocrisy of US politicians complaining about foreign interference still takes my breathe away.

The dollar is still default currency. They've talked about Euro, Yuan, GBP and Bitcoin. Still USD. Money talks

@powder I don't know how old you are. I'm 62. It won't happen in my lifetime. What is your predicting for the world default currency? It will not be bitcoin. It won't be yuan. Maybe Euro. Not in my lifetime. I'll never say never.

@powder That won't happen either. Cash is still king. It will make a comeback after the pandemic. The dollar will be the default currency for the next 20 years at least.

@powder If it's the Ruble that'll be about $10

@powder I really only know USD and CAD. I'm landlocked in USA I'd been to Mexico they have Peso. It's all play money. Everywhere I've been people prefer USD to their own money. If someone tries to spend CAD here or Peso, nobody will take them. Ever.

@powder That is true in China I'm told.

While I agree that more diplomacy would be helpful, I don't think it is Trumps' priority at all.
I was surprised that the UK has started to go-along with the anti-Huawei thing.
