Amazing. We've all just been served a 3 course lunch in the hospital, 4 hours after having a cataract op.
Last time they kept us in for observation for 3 hours, then sent us home after a mere coffee and biscuits.
Being Spain, we don't even have to pay anything for the op, the eye drops and the meal.

We were also served free afternoon coffee or juice, with biscuits. Shame we were told to go home at 5.30pm. I was beginning to wonder about supper!
Spain's health care system is great.
