LINK A PA District is Letting Christians Preach to Kids at a Remote Learning Site | Hemant Mehta | Friendly Atheist | Patheos

Paragraphs pulled from article....

“The hybrid model disproportionately impacts working families, or families with single parent households. So the opportunity to support those families is a really important thing for us.”

All of that sounds really great — for families, for students, for the district itself.

But here’s the problem: Camp Susque is a Christian camp with a self-described mission of “Biblical evangelism.” The camp’s website says its goal is “introducing campers of all ages to our God and Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ, as proclaimed in His Word, the Bible.”

It means that what they are doing here is highly illegal. Allowed but illegal.

Since it's taxpayer dollars funding this indoctrination center, we should be able to pull their funding immediately.
That it's not happening is just another indication that people are getting the government
they deserve.
And not in a good way.

This is exactly what Devos has said she's wanted all along.

Ah, the brainwashing of kids sanctioned by parents and enabled by politicians. Don't you love America?

Remote Learning Site sounds like a warm and fuzzy euphemism for a Xian Programming Facility.

@Fred_Snerd
I remember watching jesus camp. The only thing missing was the gun training.

This is a publicly funded project. Parents can teach their kids whatever they want unfortunately.

@Bobby9 It shouldn't be. That's what they call vouchers or school choice. It's Betsy DeVos and other's sceme to destroy public education in America.
