@St-Sinner - that Bernie built the momentum he did with no corporate PAC money is an achievement not acknowledged. Certainly not by the MSM in the employ of the oligarchs. If Bernie was so ineffective and not even in contention, then they wouldn't have had to cheat to win... twice. And he did what he did even in the face of the Bernie blackout. The same MSM operatives that elevated Trump as part of the recklessly cynical pied piper strategy, also went out of their way to marginalize Bernie.

Explain the rationale of the coverage I saw on MSDNC in 2016, if you will. On the screen was an empty lectern as they waited for Donald Trump to show up to speak at a campaign event. A picture in a picture was in the lower right hand corner with Bernie already speaking to a massive crowd at one of his many rallies with large enthusiastic turnouts. The sound was on for the room with the empty Trump stage. Coughing, papers rustling, chairs scraping the floor as those seated shifted... and it stayed that way for almost ten minutes.

This is a decision made at the highest levels. They would rather show dead air essentially, than cover a rally in progress with a candidate whose message resonated.

Biden didn't win shit. He was installed. People were bought off, and Bernie was kneecapped again by people that don't care if Biden loses, only that Bernie is not the nominee.

If Bernie's following didn't extend much past his New England region, then they won’t be missed not voting for Creepy Addled Uncle Joe. If Joe wants to follow the Hillary model of dismissing progressives to chase after the so-called moderate conservatives, he's likely to end up with similar results.

If the DNC deems Biden the "safe" candidate, it means they factored in those who won't vote for their corporate tool under any circumstances.

Any candidate has to earn it. It doesn't go into a pool where handicappers get to determine the validity of a person's vote. Since Hillary lost anyway, it looks like the pragmatic vote would have been to support a progressive third party so they would make the special status that the duopoly reserves for themselves.

Hillary disgusted me even as a senator and in 2016. My disagreement is about Bernie as the solution provider. That did not work and will not work.
