There is no particular reason to think there can be an effective vaccine for COVID-19.
None of the other corona viruses have an effective vaccine.
Politicians can talk all they want. Doesn't change the biological and scientific possibilities. You can blame Trump I suppose, but that seems silly. The people of almost everywhere are acting in ways to spread the virus, and it appears one can get it more than once.
So each time people will take some more damage to their system. Life expectancy could decrease. Oh well, there are too many people on the planet anyway.
But of course, each person will blame their chosen source of evil.
