Even after Nixon was long gone there were people in the south saying he was the finest president in American history.
I imagine some still do.
G.W. Bush however was different. The same mob hateing on the Dixey Chicks would all become Trump supporters and pretend their previous Adonis Bush became persona non grata, just another member of the Clinton cabal. Three years earlier and they would have attacked the Capital for him.
