LINK Oklahoma Lawmaker Files Bill Declaring 2020 “Year of the Bible” | Hemant Mehta | Friendly Atheist | Patheos

Proving once again that no amount of lip service is ever enough for conservative Christians, Oklahoma State Sen. Nathan Dahm has filed Senate Concurrent Resolution 7, which would declare 2020 the “Year of the Bible.”

(Because how else would anyone know about Christianity?)

Unfortunately it will probably be passed. Most Oklahoma legislatures are too afraid of the Christian right to vote no.

That's not make any difference in the grand scheme of things. Unless it sounds better than the year of misery. So far, 2021 isn't much better.
