Geraldine Ferarro would be so proud today. For you younger folks, she ran as VP with Walter Mondale for president in 1984. Yes, that is how long it has taken to have a female VP.

More distracting identity politics. What matters more is how progressive are her policy positions... I'd be more impressed with a black woman more like a modern Shirley Chisholm becoming VP than a sellout corporate centrist. That would be worth getting excited about....
