Eight men in Bangladesh will be hanged for their role in murdering the publisher Faisal Abedin Deepan (also spelling “Dipon” or “Dipan” in some accounts).
It’s the culmination of a years-long saga involving alleged blasphemy and religious zealots who thought they were defending Allah by killing atheists and people associated with them.

Two of my colleagues are from Bangladesh. They are as normal as can be. As are Americans. And the Russians. Or the Chinese. Oo anyone else...
The 8 men were radicalized ofcourse....reminds me of that old saying:
Religion can turn good people to evil.
