There is no democracy in Cuba. There never has been. It's a communist totalitarian country for 60 years. Before that it was a fascist military dictatorship.

Maybe you should have looked into this before repeating propaganda.

@RoboGraham The fact that some communal councils exist, the Cuban people have no say in the central government. They have political prisoners who dare to question the central government. The fact that the have a good healthcare and educational system doesn't take away from the fact that Cuba is a totalitarian state.

@RoboGraham@barjoe@Zoltans_Queen The posted article makes no mention of the Cuban Politburo or the Secretariate. These are the real seats of power in Cuba which is run by the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba. Granted there are elections in Cuba but the Communist party has maintained over 50% majority control through elections for 60 years. Raul Castro is still in power but he is expected to hand power to Miguel Diaz-Canel in 2021. See the link...
