I can. Part of my naive youth was believing some weird shit and my enthusiasm had no bounds. I showed my ass so many times blabbing about stuff that no one knew anything about or worse a bit of every kind of ignorance about racial issues and homophobia. I’ve been a misogynist and an entitled asshole.
It’s my story and it all about me it seems.
Unfortunately it won’t turn out well, but I at least achieved a level of awareness that makes me a better person from all those awkward moments.
I think the worst is when you’re convinced you’re doing the right thing and you hurt everyone you know.
Thank goodness that’s over thirty years ago.
