Does it matter what people believe? Yes, when they become violent as a result, harming others and harming our social or governmental institutions.

However, this new threat is closely intertwined with the freedoms of speech, belief, political affiliation, and gun ownership. Thus, we may not be able to develop laws to deal with the threat.

Beliefs have consequences,as the Inquisition certainly showed.

I have tried to point this out to people like my sister. The similarities of the evangelicals/q people to Isis or any terrorist is scary.

There is a philosophical nexus between a good number of evangelical Christians, Trumpists, white supremacists, Q anon conspiracy theorists and gun rights activists, and they’ve found a home in the Republican Party.

Sadly so!
