Real tragedy. Looks like no fault of the Captain.......ship got caught in a sandstorm. On the water unexpected things can happen, whether in Ocean, Bay, Harbor, River, etc. all you can do is prepare and be ready.

Nobody knows for sure. Egyptian government not completely forthcoming.

@barjoe That is the most Diplomatic way of describing what is the Clusterfuck that is the Egyptian government.
