Thank you, this gave me chills. Horses are beautiful and magnificent animals and a true loving symbiotic relationship often develops with their owners.

I was so lucky to grow up with horses and dogs that seemed to love me as much as I loved them. I always feel sad when I look at my children's childhood and realize they really never had that experience despite the fact that we always had animals in our lives. Perhaps it was because I was an only child.

I enjoyed riding as a young girl, but never understood why other girls were so “in love” with horses. Tried riding again when I moved to AZ, and an hour was more than enough.
