@rainmanjr that is most certainly a matter os perspective. Allied powers came and took it, gave Palestine to Isrealis, then two little pieces were carved out, and Jewish settlers have been encroaching on those ever since, whittling that down increasingly, and not ever truly allowing autonomy. There has never been sufficient space or wherewithall for Palestinians to forge an economy in their tiny space, so they remain dependent on Israel in one way or another. Hey, just another perspective!
