In this case, most definitely. Plainly the investigators had to cherry-pick their data to come up with a conclusion that was apparent to everyone watching. The report is not ass-covering, it is right-wing racist propaganda intended for Republican consumption. Anyone who trots this out as " arse-covering " of Trump/Barr/et.al. deserves to be laughed at.

Let's just remember that Barr conscripted " law enforcement " from a slew of agencies that had absolutely zero business being there (DEA, Border Patrol, Park Service, ICE, etc.). Every single officer who attended should have their social media reviewed for inappropriate (white supremacist) content and discharged. They should also get psychologically tested with similar removal for cause.

Or, fire the lot of them to set an example. They should not have come there and they knew it. Barr should be indicted for malfeasance, sedition, and violating the civil rights of hundreds.
