IMO, the bible is a bunch of marks on paper without any value written by 2000 year old sheep herders. Moses, ostensibly the author of much of the beginning is featured as a mass murderer and mass rapist, and he claims his actions were approved by his god fantasy invisible man in the sky. The bible is completely useless except maybe as a museum piece example documenting the stupendous idiocy and stupidity of the human race.

"Founding father" Jefferson, who so many evangelicals point to as one of the xtion founders of the nation, took a bible and cut out all swaths of HeyZeus's divinity. That bible is on display and, I'm pretty sure, available to read via the internet.
