I am 73 and have heard ridiculous conspiracy theories my whole life and NOT ONE has ever been proven. All they do is inflame the stupid. Stop it.

The interview I linked above (BOTH are highly knowledgeable) might get you (re)thinking.
I find that it matters where the conspiracy theory started. Many are used by the right to influence the ignorant and stupid, uneducated, and those who really know no better.
