CO² production is essential for the planet. Plants need it for their photosynthesis functions. The problem is excessive CO² production.

Yes, but just look how the air quality improved in the early days of the pandemic shut down.
It was Amazing! Nothing is "perfect" but striving for it is the right, intelligent thing to do.

True... equipment has to be manufactured, repaired, replaced, and eventually discarded. But if we could even get to 95% that would have an amazing impact on the planet. We've still got a long way to go though. I doubt it will happen within the next 20 years without some significant advances in technology.

Open a soda, more CO2 for the atmosphere.
Light a match CO2.
Mix concrete, CO2.

Breathe .... CO².

Concrete is the big one, cement production is probably one of the most CO2 intensive industries there is.
